Dominic says: "There is a fine line between the photograph we see and the photograph we want to see.

The photographs I take are not documents of fact; they do not capture truth. Rather, they capture echoes that strike a chord of familiarity within when viewed – ghosts of traces of imitations of memory and fantasy.

I have just completed a BA (Hons) Photography degree, whereby I developed my practice and discovered a passion for surrealism. Photography blurs the lines of the real and the surreal; misleading the viewer into trusting, what they believe to be, a truthful source.

Landscape photography is also a big part of my work. I often add dreamlike qualities to the images, whether it be a more vivid sky or simply insert an object into the frame. This adds other dimensions to, what would be, a rather mundane scene."
